"The Comité Congolais des Grands Bassins (CCGB) is a structure bringing together Congolese experts and practitioners in the field of large dams, keen to do better. For me, the advent of the CCGB, especially in greater Katanga, is comparable to a large piece of the puzzle that was missing and that we've just found. Finally, it's about time these experts and practitioners got together, as they have in other countries, to reflect regularly on the management of the Congo's major dams. These dams, and in particular the TSFs (Tailings Storage Facilities), are critical infrastructures that need to be managed by a specialized structure. I wish the CCGB every success in achieving its objectives.
